Apple, which recently sold LG’s 4K (UHD) UltraFine screen, suddenly removed this product from Apple Stores. While users had to choose the 5K UltraFine display, this product was also out of stock. Now, Apple has placed the 23.7-inch UltraFine screen on the shelves in Apple Stores to close the gap.
The price of the new 23.7-inch 4K (UHD) LG display on sale is the same as the $699 price of the previously sold 21-inch 4K LG display. It is noted that the 23.7-inch LG screen, which is stated to have a resolution of 3360×1890, has 162 pixels per inch (PPI), and therefore it cannot provide a quality image as well as a Retina display.
Although it is of high quality in terms of technical features, the LG screen has a thick-edged design that is unfortunately not liked and preferred by most users. The new screen, which has Thundebolt 3 input and 3 USB-C inputs, which is compatible with 2 Mac computers and 2018 iPad Pro model, 1 more than normal, is available in Apple’s physical stores, but cannot be purchased on the website.
