AMD Announces R1000 Series Embedded Processors

AMD has announced the new Ryzen R1000 series. In addition, AMD, which plans to release two different processors, also introduced the R1505G and R1606G models.


The first detail to know about the newly announced processors is that the products are produced for embedded systems. This means that the desktop computer will not have this processor. The product will come embedded in motherboards. It is compatible not only for laptops but also for industrial devices. According to the statements made by AMD, these processors can be used in different sectors such as aerospace and defense industries and medical imaging devices.


The two new processors that will be released on the market actually do not differ much from each other. The R1505G model processor is 2 cores and can work in the range of 2.4 GHz to 3.2 GHz. The R1606G model operates in the 2.6 GHz and 3.5 GHz range. Both processors support 4K image resolution. In the performance tests on 3DMark, the difference between these two processors is not as little as we have just mentioned.
