Chiphell forum member, a Chinese forum member, has displayed AMD’s new Ryzen 3 3200G APU. This user, who apparently works at the restaurant, says he has 8 Ryzen 3000 series APU samples and runs different tests on them.
‘Picasso’ is the codename for AMD’s Ryzen 3000 series desktop and mobile APUs. The US chip maker had launched the H series for mobile in January, and the Ryzen Pro series recently. Only desktop APUs remain, and AMD is likely to introduce them at the Computex 2019 event.
AMD Ryzen 3 3200G is a further development of Ryzen 3 2200G. This chip will likely retain the quad-core configuration, but is expected to deliver higher performance thanks to the Zen+ microarchitecture and 12nm optimizations. The Ryzen 3 3200G is expected to have a base frequency of 3.5 GHz and a peak frequency of 3.7 GHz.
