AMD has officially announced a new product that will further increase their competition with NVIDIA. According to the statements made by company officials at Computex 2019 events held in Taiwan, AMD is working on a new Navi-based graphics card that will be 10 percent faster than NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070. According to AMD, this new graphics card, called the RX 5700, will have technological features that have never been used before.
The RX 5700, which uses the Navi architecture, which will be an advanced version of the 7 nm graphics cards that AMD released for the first time last year, has been tested according to the claims. Aside from the performance difference with the Geforce RTX 2070, it was stated that the performance of the AMD RX 5700 is 27 percent better at 4K resolution than NVIDIA’s Geforce RTX 2080 in the tests made on the ‘Strange Brigade’ game. In the same test, the performance of the RX 5700 was 11 percent better at 1080p and 2K resolutions.
We need to wait for a while to know more about AMD’s new graphics card. At the Next Horizon Gaming events to be held in June, we will both get to know this graphics card and learn more about AMD’s RX 5000 series and Navi architecture. However, we have to wait until July to have one of these graphics cards.
