Offering a robotics, data science and artificial intelligence coding training platform to users, Riders received an investment of 7.8 million TL with the participation of Ak Portfolio Venture Capital under the leadership of Boğaziçi Ventures.
The MOOC (Mass Open Online Course) and educational technologies market is expected to reach a total of 350 billion USD by 2025. The value proposition that sets Riders apart from the current market is that it offers hands-on training and collaboration in the fields of artificial intelligence, data science and robotics. Riders also offers users the opportunity to test in simulation environments and benefit from deep learning libraries.
Boğaziçi Ventures, which establishes and manages funds investing in technology companies, announced that it has invested 7.8 million TL in Riders, together with Ak Portfolio Venture Capital, through BV Growth, an investment fund focusing on early stage startups in the fields of gaming, fintech, digital health and retail technologies. Announcing the news of the investment in a Youtube broadcast moderated by BV Growth Fund Managing Partner Kenan Çolpan, Boğaziçi Ventures hosted Riders Co-Founder Başar Şahinbeyoğlu and Business Development Manager Özlem Değirmenci. In the broadcast, Riders’ vision for the future, its place in the market and post-investment plans were mentioned.
