Anomaly Experienced During SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Tests

Tests were conducted Saturday at SpaceX’s test stand in Cape Canaveral, located in the southern US state of Florida.

A SpaceX spokesperson on the matter told Space News:

“Initial tests on the test stand were successfully completed, but the final test resulted in an anomaly. To ensure our systems comply with strict safety standards, and in flight “Detecting these types of anomalies beforehand is the main reason for our testing. Our teams do their research and work with our NASA partners.”


NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine said in a statement on his Twitter account that NASA was informed of the situation and stated that they would work closely to move forward safely.
