Apple Working on 5G Supported iPad Pros

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the Liquid Crystal Polymer soft boards (flexible motherboard) that Apple is expected to use will allow iPad Pros to offer better wireless connectivity. Of course, it is also useful to say that 5G technology will not come before 2021.


TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in his speech to investors today, said that iPad Pros with LCP with 5G support will be released in the last quarter of 2019 or 2020. He said that it will start mass production at the beginning.

Although the tablets, which will have 11-inch and 12.9-inch screens as they are now, will not change much on the outside, they will have serious differences on the inside. The structural flexibility offered by LCP soft boards will allow Apple to connect more components to the device.

It is said that the most interesting of these components will be the 5G modem, while at the same time flexibility will help reduce signal loss and increase network performance. Considering that Macbooks do not offer 1 gigabit internet, iPads having 5G speeds could be an important step in making them Macbook replacements
