According to a study supported by TÜBİTAK, it was determined that children with a large number of siblings are more successful in life and these children have a more combative personality.
In studies conducted on 100 students, students were classified according to the number of siblings. In this classification, 25 high school students were single children and 25 high school students were multi-sibling. In the same way, middle school students were added to these two classifications, which consisted of 50 high school students. Then, face-to-face interviews were held with 100 high school and middle school students.
As a result, it was determined that children with multiple siblings were more challenging, able to express themselves better, and more successful. According to this, 68 percent of children with multiple siblings are better at adapting and making friends. In group work, children with multiple siblings are 64 percent more successful. In addition, 79 percent of children with multiple siblings can manage their money much better and are more frugal.
Psychologist Ayşenur Aydın Aslan, who made a statement on the subject, stated that children with multiple siblings learn to defend their rights in conflicts between siblings and stated that these children struggle to be more loved. Stating that single children know that they already have all the attention, Aslan said that it has been determined that children with multiple siblings are more successful in their professional and school lives.
