Today, the focus of companies struggling with the pandemic, fluctuations in exchange rates and tough competition conditions is to increase efficiency and keep costs at an optimum level. Measuring efficiency, reducing losses and controlling costs are only possible with solutions provided by technology and digitalization. According to IDC’s research titled “CIO Perspective in Turkey”, 40% of institutions in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Region are adding new digital applications, with an average of more than four each, due to COVID-19. While 47% of CIOs plan to invest in industry-specific applications to deal with bottlenecks, the internet of things (IoT) is on the agenda of 37% of CIOs who want to differentiate themselves from their competitors with innovation. There are also important moves from technology companies in the face of the current picture. Finally, two of the fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA Region, Bulutistan and Trio Mobil, announced that they started to provide holistic services to companies with cloud computing and IoT solutions they developed with domestic software.

They will contribute to both the national economy and employment.

Pioneering the IoT and cloud technologies with the advanced solutions they offer, the two companies will offer solutions for the needs of companies from different sectors, especially manufacturing and retail. While many companies that provide cloud and IoT technologies around the world incur costs in many items for digitalization in both operational and budgetary terms, Bulutistan and Trio Mobil will contribute to both the national economy and employment by providing solutions for companies’ real needs with the technologies they have developed with domestic resources.

They will develop technology with domestic resources and challenge world giants.

Making a statement about the cooperation, Bulutistan CEO Begim Başlıgil said, “We are a 100-person cloud computing platform that serves together with our more than 40 teammates who are experienced in their fields and our strategic solution partners with whom we act together in our ecosystem. We work with more than 300 companies and conglomerates, each of which is a leader in its field, mainly from dynamic and competitive sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, education and energy. In this period, where the digital transformation of companies is accelerating with the effect of the pandemic, cloud computing services are at the center of this transformation. With the pay-as-you-go model, we make it easier for companies to invest in digital transformation. Now, within the scope of our cooperation with Trio Mobil, we aim to develop technology with local resources and challenge the world’s giants.”

In his statement, Trio Mobil CEO Nevzat Ataklı emphasized that this synergy created by their cooperation as two leading companies in the technology sector will also contribute to the country’s economy.
