Research shows that CRM software is not adopted by 60% of companies.* While it is pointed out that the reason for this is the lack of adaptive user interface, the technology company that offers cloud business solutions, Zoho, announced that it has overcome this problem with its Canvas design studio, which it enriches its CRM software. Zoho Europe Regional Director Sridhar Iyengar said, “With this product, which we offer free of charge, users can customize the look and feel of the CRM system as they wish and use it efficiently without writing a single line of code.”
Digital transformation, which started a new era in the business world, has also increased the use of customer relationship management (CRM) software. While CRM software is the foundation for designing a good customer experience, research shows that while it is one of the fastest growing business software markets, CRM has low adoption and usage rates. According to CSO Insights, only two out of 5 companies (40%) say they’ve adopted CRM 90% of the time. Failure rates range from 37 to 81%, depending on the industry. While it was pointed out that this table was caused by the lack of an adaptable and functional user interface, Zoho, one of the world’s leading technology companies, took an important step. The company Zoho, which has recently come to the fore with its decision to increase its activities in Turkey, announced that the design studio Canvas, which it started to offer with CRM, allows users to design the software interface as they wish and customize it in the most appropriate way. The free Canvas is expected to be added to Zoho’s more than 50 cloud-based business applications in the near future.

Sridhar Iyengar, Zoho Regional Director for Europe, said, “Today, almost all CRM software has a fixed user interface. However, each business’s CRM works with different information and needs different requirements. Therefore, it is very difficult to find a design that appeals to everyone, let alone providing a superior customer and employee experience. As a result, adoption and effective use rates are also below expectations. At this point, our design studio Canvas offers a solution to this problem. With a simple drag-and-drop interface, users can customize the look and feel of the CRM system as they wish, without writing a single line of code.”

The user only needs to know his own needs. He can adapt the ready-made templates according to his own needs whenever he wishes. Every detail can be customized, from the appearance of customer records to changing the color of a button. Prepared designs can be copied to other modules or even to other Zoho CRM accounts. Most importantly, no information is lost in this process and all previous associations are preserved as they are.
