Details about Nothing Phone (1) continue to emerge every day. Ahead of the launch, the design of the smartphone was showcased, and Nothing founder Carl Pei even revealed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor. Now in a new development, the core features of Nothing Phone (1) are revealed by Abhishek Yadav. According to the latest leak, the device offers a 50MP primary camera sensor and a 120Hz OLED display panel.
Nothing’s first smartphone has been confirmed to come with a punched notch in the left corner and symmetrical bezels. Recent leaks about the device reveal that Nothing will offer a 6.55-inch OLED display panel to users on the smartphone. The screen on the phone offers 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen will also have Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The smartphone will also launch with a dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor on the device will be a 50MP sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. This sensor can shoot 4K video at 60 FPS. According to the leaked images, the 50MP primary sensor is accompanied by another sensor that will support a 114-degree field of view, thus bringing with it ultra-wide angle functionality.
In addition, the new smartphone, which will be released soon, will come out of the box with Android 12-based Nothing OS installed. The information reveals that Nothing OS will offer its own widgets and a Glyph interface.
Finally, the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone will be released on July 12.
