The OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G global variant has been listed on the FCC certification website and is one step closer to launch.
OPPO launched the Reno 8 series in China in May. The new flagship smartphone series includes three devices. These devices are; Reno 8 is listed as Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+. However, the company is expected to launch its new flagship smartphone lineup globally in the near future. At this point, OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G, one of the devices in the series, was spotted on the FCC website.
OPPO’s new flagship smartphone has been spotted in the FCC database with model number CPH2357. The Federal Communications Commission website confirms that the smartphone will come with a 4,500mAh battery, just like all phones in the Reno 8 series. It should also be noted that the device will come with SUPERVOOC 80W fast charging support. The smartphone will be launched with Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 version. The device is said to measure 161.2×74.2×7.34 mm and weigh 183 grams.
The smartphone also offers support for 5G and 4G LTE. The device will also offer Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC support to users. OPPO Reno 8 Pro 5G will house MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max SoC. At the same time, the device will also have the MariSilicon X chip. The smartphone is expected to support up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Finally, let’s mention that the smartphone will come with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera sensor, and the main camera sensor will be accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. Let’s add that there will be a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera on the front of the device.
