Researchers: Generation Z Kids Can’t Count Money

According to a study conducted at University College London in England, Generation Z, which includes children born after 2000, who see their parents constantly paying by credit or debit card, are extremely unsuccessful in calculating money.

According to the results of the research, Generation Z is completely unfamiliar with cash. Researchers attribute the reason why children are so inadequate in money accounts that the culture of pocket money is over. Researchers say that children’s withdrawal from cash also affects financial literacy.
