Ryzen 3 2300X System Rollup | QP Nova V2

We have been collecting computers since the day we were founded and we enjoy this job immensely. This time, we went to the table with Ali again and rolled up our sleeves for an enjoyable system collection. As a graphics card, we use NVIDIA’s GTX 1650 with RT and Tensor cores clipped. Although this card lags behind the RX 570, it will be preferred by some users due to NVIDIA’s driver and additional software advantages. Let’s be clear though: The video engine (NVENC) of the GTX 1650 is Volta-based.

We use AMD’s quad-core Ryzen 3 2300X as the processor. This processor, which can go up to 4 GHz with Turbo, can easily feed 1650. Since it is an affordable system, we made the memory 8 GB. However, when purchasing, you can also choose 16 GB.

In terms of storage, we can say that we have retired the hard drives. This system was no exception, and we opted for Samsung’s 860 EVO with 250GB capacity. So why don’t we use M.2? Of course the cost. M.2 SSDs can really reach incredible values thanks to the NVMe protocol, but the price difference is still very high.

We are using the MSI B450M PRO-M2 V2, which we have used before, as the motherboard. This motherboard, which is also compatible with the model name of the system, has USB 3.0 and M.2 interfaces. On the other hand, the faster USB 3.1 Gen2 is due to the cost waived.

Finally, our PSU and case preference is Corsair. We are using the company’s VS550 model. We also receive criticism about this model, but we use the 2018 version, which we have used on many systems before and did not have any problems. Our case has tempered glass, Carbide Spec 04 model.
