Skoda is finally getting its own electric car. The exterior design of the vehicle, which has a strange name such as ‘Citigoe iV’, is generally similar to that of internal combustion models, but the difference is of course that it is electric. Under the hood of the Citigo is an 82 horsepower (61 kW) engine and torque of 210 Newton-metres.
This may not seem like much, but it should not be forgotten that the Citigo is an A-segment vehicle with a length of 3597 millimeters and a width of 1645 millimeters. The company does not provide information on the weight of the car, other ICE models come in at just under 1,000 kilograms. According to Skoda, the vehicle’s engine accelerates to 0-100 km in 12.5 seconds, 60-100 km in 7.6 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 130 km.
Skoda will offer its electric vehicle, the Citigo, in a five-door configuration and with a front grille that is the same color as the body. Wheel sizes range from 14 to 16 inches depending on floor level, while the vehicle will come in Sunflower Yellow, Candy White and Hurricane Red colors exclusive to this model. Skoda will start production of the model in the second half of this year
