This Time for Sure: Gmail’s Inbox App Is Officially Removed

Google has been officially ‘spring cleaning’ lately. Having removed many of its applications, Google has removed Inbox this time. Inbox would normally close on April 2, but the shutdown process has lasted until now.

As a last-ditch effort to keep the popular email app alive, many Inbox users have installed an older version of the app on their device. The app continued to work after April 2nd, as older versions did not yet have the ‘Move to Gmail’ option.

Now the application is officially discontinued. Support for older versions of the application has been completely discontinued. Of course, Inbox’s website has been ‘dead’ since April 2.
