Turkey Ranks Fourth at Intel ISEF

As a result of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the world’s largest high school science competition, Turkey returned home with two fourth places and one special award. There were proud moments at the award ceremony that took place in Arizona the other day.

Our first fourth place came with Arda Mavi and Zeynep Dikle’s project in the System Software category. They created a real-time sign language using their own datasets in their projects.

In addition to this fourth place, our country, which won another fourth place, also received a special award. Aslı Doğu and Berk Alaattin Bektemur from Private Anadolu High School won the first prize with the ‘Mobile Weather Station and Data Bank’ project developed for the American Meteorological Society (AMS).

We congratulate our young people who made our country happy with such good news on the 19th of May, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, and wish them continued success.
