AMD will return to this year’s E3 gaming conference with the “Next Horizon Gaming” event. The company will showcase “next generation acting products and experiences” at the event. Although AMD announced that it will take part in E3, he did not give more details.
“At Next Horizon Gaming, AMD President and CEO Dr. Lisa Su will provide detailed information about the products and technologies that will power computer, console and cloud gaming in the coming years.”
Navi graphics card
With gaming going mainstream, it is thought that the chipmaker will finally introduce the long-awaited Navi graphics cards. AMD said that Navi will launch in the third quarter of 2019. Therefore, it is considered possible that AMD will benefit from the Next Horizon Gaming event and provide information about the Navi architecture.
E3 is one of the biggest gaming events in the world and a very suitable event to introduce graphics cards. Considering that the company revealed the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X in 2015, the AMD Radeon RX 460 and the AMD Radeon RX 470 in 2016, this is highly likely.
Ryzen 3000 series CPU
At E3, it’s unlikely that there will be any developments regarding the company’s Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. In addition, introducing a processor at the game fair may be a bit unorthodox. However, the announcement that rival motherboard manufacturers such as Biostar will introduce their new motherboards at Computex 2019 makes it very likely that AMD will also introduce new motherboards at this event. Of course, the introduction of a motherboard without a processor is unthinkable. Therefore, it is thought that AMD will introduce such products at Computex 2019.
